Field Service Software Pricing With No Per-User Fees
Every user is included: field crews, supervisors, office staff, clients and vendors. You pay a one-time setup fee to build your app, and a yearly subscription priced on the work it handles.
Why no per-user fees
Per-User Pricing Punishes You for Including the Field Team
A field operation has many people who each use the app for a few minutes at a time: drivers, technicians, inspectors, subcontractors, a client signing off a job. When every one of them costs a license, companies give access to the supervisors and leave the crew on paper and phone calls. That is exactly where detail, proof and time get lost.
We price on the work instead. The app costs the same whether ten people use it or a thousand, so giving everyone access costs nothing extra, and the data comes from the person who saw it, at the moment it happened.

How it works
Two Parts: a Setup Fee and a Yearly Subscription
Both are agreed in your proposal before any work starts, so you know the cost up front.
| One-time setup | Yearly subscription | |
|---|---|---|
| What it pays for | One-time setup Building your app around your process: forms, workflow, roles, reports and any portals | Yearly subscription Running your app all year: hosting, data security, backups and archiving, AI, updates, maintenance and support |
| How it’s priced | One-time setup A fixed price, quoted as a number of working days | Yearly subscription On activity: the items, journeys, purchase orders, permits or forms the app handles, and the AI checks each one needs |
| Why it stays low | One-time setup More than 95% of every app is the platform itself, already built and proven | Yearly subscription Users are never counted, so adding people never adds cost |
| Users | One-time setup Not a factor: the price is set by what we build | Yearly subscription Unlimited users, approvers and viewers, inside and outside your company |
Your subscription
A Fixed Fee or a Unit Rate, Depending on What You Know
If you know your volumes, such as how many meters you manage or how many permits you raise a month, you get a fixed yearly fee, plus an agreed rate for any use above it. Your budget is set for the year.
If your volumes aren’t known yet, for example on a new contract or a rollout that is still growing, you get a unit rate with a minimum yearly commitment. You pay for the work as it grows, without guessing at a number up front.
The rate also reflects the AI your process uses. An app that grades every inspection photo and toolbox talk does more AI work per record than one that reads a meter dial, so we work out the AI your workflow needs and price it into your subscription from your volumes. There are no credits to buy and nothing for your team to ration.

Included
What the Subscription Includes
Your app works every day of the year, and so does everything behind it. The subscription pays for all of it, with no add-ons to buy as your team uses more of the app.
Every user
Field crews, supervisors, office and finance staff, clients and vendors, with no seat fees.
Hosting and data security
The web console, the Fieldmaster Pocket mobile app and your data, kept running, encrypted and access-controlled.

FAQ
Questions About Pricing
Do we pay for each user?
No. There is no per-user fee. Field crews, supervisors, office staff, clients, vendors and subcontractors can all use the app without changing your price.
Why don’t you publish a price list?
Every operation has a different process, volume and set of integrations, so a list price would be wrong for most of them. After a discovery session, you get a proposal with the scope, a day-by-day plan and the price.
What does the setup fee cover?
Building your app around your process: the forms, workflow, roles, reports, documents and any portals or integrations in scope. It is a fixed price, quoted in the proposal as a number of working days. A typical app takes 10 to 18 working days to build.
Why is the setup fee low?
Because more than 95% of every app is the platform itself, already built and proven in production. We configure blocks that already work, instead of writing your app from scratch.
Why a yearly subscription and not a one-off price?
The setup fee pays for building your app. The subscription pays for running it, every day: hosting and data security, backups and archiving, the AI that reads and checks every record, platform updates, maintenance and support. Those costs continue for as long as your app is in use, and they grow with the work it handles, so the subscription follows that work.
What does priced on activity mean?
Your subscription follows the work the app handles, measured in the unit that fits it: bins, meters, vehicles, SKUs, assets or sites, or journeys, purchase orders, permits and forms. Each solution’s pricing model page explains its unit.
What if our volumes change during the year?
With a fixed yearly fee, use above the agreed volume is charged at a rate set in your proposal, so there are no surprises. With a unit rate, you pay for the work as it grows, above a minimum yearly commitment.
Is AI charged separately?
No. When we quote, we work out the AI your workflow needs, from voice fill and photo reading to AI checks on every inspection, and size it into your subscription from your volumes. There are no credits to buy or top up.
Can we start small?
Yes. You can start with one app, one site or one team, then add modules and apps later. Every new app reuses the same platform, users and setup, so growing doesn’t mean starting over.
